Your Child Belongs to YOU, NOT Phil Murphy!

By Victoria A. Jakelsky, NJ Parental Rights - July 3, 2021

“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 5 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.” Deuteronomy 6:4-9

Many of you are frustrated, angry, full of stress, and exasperated over the current policies, mask mandates, and the material being taught to your children, using your tax dollars in most NJ Public Schools. Some of you have never been ones to speak out; however, you just cannot remain silent anymore and you are not sure why… I would like to assure you, YOU ARE NOT WRONG, you are not being rebellious, you are not being disobedient, YOU ARE FULFILLING YOUR DUTY as a devoted parent, to care for, protect, love, and defend your children! This is not only your God given right, BUT YOUR DUTY. Your children have been given into your hands as a gift. Each one belongs to you, their parent, not to the schools, not to Government, and most certainly not to Governor Murphy in any way, shape, or form. The scripture above makes it clear, your role as a parent is to fill your child’s heart and brain with scriptures about our loving God and HIS commandments; however, the schools are silencing your voice, planting doubt and animosity into the heart of your children and attempting to erase the very commandments that the LORD wants to remain before their eyes, in their ears, and in their hearts and minds twenty-four hours a day. You are not choosing to “not comply” you are obeying your God given duty.

Proverbs 22:6 says to: “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” You are called to train your children. To keep them pure, innocent, and safe. When the NJ Public School’s want to teach them that biological and Biblical truths are bigoted and hateful, you should not sit back but raise up. Parents have rights. Taxpayers have rights. We do not lose those rights at the front door of the local school district.

On June 23, the U.S. Supreme Court issued a substantial parental right ruling in Mahanoy v. B. L. Justice Alito concurred with Justice Gorsuch’s opinion writing: “In our society, parents, not the State, have the primary authority and duty to raise, educate, and form the character of their children. Parents do not implicitly relinquish all that authority when they send their children to a public school.” 594 U. S. ____ (2021) ALITO, J., concurring.

Today is our day. This is our test. Will you pledge to each other, your lives, your fortunes, and your sacred honor to fight for truth, freedom, the purity of your children, and the truth found in the Holy Word of God?

Time will tell.

Freedom is not free.

The fact is that NO SCHOOL is required by law to indoctrinate your child.

As many of you know, our leadership team had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Repollet, then NJ Commissioner of Education, early in 2020. He made it very clear that all NJ public school districts have the right to decide how, where, and when all LGBT matters are presented and/or taught.

IT IS UP TO THE SCHOOLS WHERE IT GOES AND WHAT IS TAUGHT!

As you know, guidance is simply that, guidance. In NJ, the schools have the authority to decide if, when, and where most material is taught.

Below is the text of the LGBT Curriculum Law (please note there is no “Q” or any other letter other than “LGBT”).

CHAPTER 6 - An Act concerning instruction and instructional materials in public schools and supplementing chapter 35 of Title 18A of the New Jersey Statutes.

C.18A:35-4.35 History of disabled and LGBT persons included in middle and high school curriculum.

1. A board of education shall include instruction on the political, economic, and social contributions of persons with disabilities and lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people, in an appropriate place in the curriculum of middle school and high school students as part of the district’s implementation of the New Jersey Student Learning Standards.

C.18A:35-4.36 Policies, procedures pertaining to inclusive instructional materials.

2. A board of education shall have policies and procedures in place pertaining to the selection of instructional materials to implement the requirements of section 1 of this act. When adopting instructional materials for use in the schools of the district, a board of education shall adopt inclusive instructional materials that portray the cultural and economic diversity of society including the political, economic, and social contributions of persons with disabilities and lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people, where appropriate.

The inclusion law also includes the terms: where appropriate.

N.J.S.A. 18A:35-4.7 is NJ State Law that gives every parent of a child in the NJ public school system the legal right to be excused from being taught any material that stands in contradiction to their religious beliefs.

N.J.S.A. 18A:35-4.7, any student whose parent presents to the Principal a signed statement that any part of the instruction in health, family life education, OR SEX EDUCATION IS IN CONFLICT WITH HIS/HER CONSCIENCE OR SINCERELY HELD MORAL OR RELIGIOUS BELIEFS shall be excused from that portion of the course where such instruction is being given and no penalties as to credit or graduation shall result.

Your school has the legal right (and duty) to decide when, if, and where this material will be taught. We argue that there is no appropriate place whatsoever because the material is harmful to all children!

Your school district has a duty to protect the children and the legal right to decide where this material is placed. Therefore, we argue that they have the duty to place it ONLY in health and give the parents the legal right to ask that their child be excused from hearing this material from any teacher that they may trust and look up to.

Will you, as your child's parent argue this case?

Will you as a taxpayer stand up against taxation without representation?

Will you as a pastor, a Rabbi, a person of faith, a loving grandparent, a coach, a teacher, a school board member, a free American stand up, rise up and speak out against this harmful indoctrination?

We will help you. We will stand with you. Stand with us as we pledge to keep our nation free and keep our Republic.
